This is a tricky deal…if you bought a phone from GameStop then before you start using it you would definitely have to call the carrier or better yet visit their store in person and have them check out the phone you just bought and see if it's clear for usage. ![]() They won't tell you anything that's going on with your phone that suddenly stopped working for "privacy reasons". Right, and those carriers can be so heartless. The last time I sold an old iPhone there the guy said he just bought one but it was blacklisted after he started using it and the person who sold it changed their number. It's technically still their property and they can blacklist it. ![]() It's the carrier it was originally financed with and they don't care if you bought it elsewhere after the fact.
